CIY

Johan was born and raised in County Wicklow and graduated from University College Dublin where he studied History and Politics. Upon graduation, Johan was led to international mission work with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). His work mainly included running discipleship training schools for young people and equipping and releasing them into ministry all over the world.

Since his return to Ireland in 2017, Johan joined the team at CIY and helps oversee the work and development of CIY Europe in Ireland. Johan completed his Master’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from UCD in 2022. Johan is passionate about seeing Jesus impact the lives of young people across the land and seeing them live out their God given gifts, talents, and abilities. He loves Rugby, flat whites and his wife Meadhbh, but not in that order!
