CIY

The week includes dynamic services designed specifically for teenagers, with contemporary worship, fun games, stacks of activities and sports, focused small-groups and moments for young people to treasure. 

MOVE is CIY's summer residential event intentionally designed for 14-18 year olds... but it's more than just an event. It's an all-inclusive experience that not only provides food, lodging, sports, fun activities, and an age-intentional program, it also aims to provide encounters with Jesus that leads young people to embrace Him and the Kingdom Work purposes they've been called to.

At MOVE, everything from food and accommodation to content and materials are taken care of for the youth leaders. MOVE provides all the small group materials prior to the event and then meets with adult leaders every morning to go over each day's experiences. MOVE curriculum is also made available to groups after the event and CIY offer loads of help beyond the event for you and your group to grow.

MOVE aims to facilitate an experience that allows you as a youth leader or youth worker to focus on quality time with your young people.  As such the programme at MOVE will give you time in small groups and time with your young people across the various activities

You must have one adult for every 10 young people you bring to MOVE.  However, we would recommend you have one leader for every 8 young people and unless your group is single sex you must have at least one female and one male leader.

Also a  big part of MOVE is encouraging small group time for all of the youth. At CIY our focus and aim is to set youth leaders up for those special moments with your young people. We believe your small group is the place where this happens the most. Each day, we have small group material that helps your young people to participate and engage more deeply with the theme/main sessions.
