YOU CAN UNDERTAKE THIS CHALLENGE AS A SMALL GROUP, YOUR ENTIRE YOUTH GROUP, OR INVOLVE YOUR WHOLE CHURCH TO GET INVOLVED. IT'S A POWERFUL WAY TO ENGAGE EVERYONE IN SUPPORTING THIS CRUCIAL MISSION.

Step 1: You must first register your church to pledge that you are taking up the challenge.

Step 2: Get creative and plan your fundraiser. Keep in touch with us to share what you are doing as a church.

Step 3: Collect up all your funds and make your donation through the link. All donations must be received by St Patrick's Day (17th March, 2026).

1. There are less than 40 youth workers/pastors employed by the local church across the whole of the Republic of Ireland (Protestant and Catholic Churches).
2. Some of the major cities in Ireland don’t have a single youth pastor employed by any local church.
3. In some locations in Ireland, it works out that there is one youth worker/pastor for approximately every 24,000 young people.
4. In the West of Ireland, you might have to drive over 50km to find a youth worker in a local church.
5. There are 1.3 million young people in Ireland (11 to 25 years old), how many of these young people are being discipled in a local church?
6. Ireland needs 100s and 100s more youth workers/pastors in the local churches in order to try and reach and disciple tens of thousands of young people.
